AERO (Aerial Exploration & Response Operations)

Mission

AERO's mission is to contribute to the establishment of a nationwide autonomous hydrogen-drone network within the Netherlands.

Problem

The prevalent use of Chinese-origin drones in government operations presents a pressing concern, as it poses significant risks of inadvertently transmitting private and sensitive data to Chinese servers. These risks, highlighted by industry experts and studies, encompass privacy violations and potential societal disruption. Concurrently, Dutch companies are attempting to address this issue by focusing on providing battery-powered drone solutions. However, existing battery-powered drones suffer from poor performance characteristics, including limited flight duration, speed, and range. This dual challenge underscores the urgent need for innovative solutions that not only mitigate data security risks associated with Chinese drones, but also offer superior performance compared to current offerings in the market.

Solution

Autonomous hydrogen-powered drones engineered and assembled in the Netherlands, which offer far greater performance characteristics in flight time, speed and range compared to conventional battery-powered counterparts.
