PLU Umbrellas

Making the use of rain gear more sustainable while giving comfort and higher mobility to the user.

The problem is that people often forget to bring rain gear, and are overwhelmed by a sudden storm. The solution they use now is to buy a disposable poncho or an umbrella, which easily breaks. This is not sustainable, and is also not that convenient.

PLU wants to make machines which contain sturdy storm umbrellas. The user can use the umbrellas for the first 24 hours for free, because of advertisement on the umbrellas. The machines are spread throughout the city, enabling the user to hand in the umbrella when it is no longer needed.
